At first you added a 1/3 cup of Tomato Paste butlater you add three larger cans of Tomato Paste?? That looked more like Toamto sauce. Are you sure you meant paste? Ive never seen large cans like this of Tomato Paste before. Could you be in error?

if yall are feeling really zesty, throw some taco seasoning on the vegetables before you add the broth. add a big ass spoonful of sour cream to the broth once its simmering. –white ppl mexican soup. also adding a LITTLE cabbage can help ur digestion, but add a lot and u will poop constantly.

If you eat nothing but this soup for a week, where do you get your protein from? I make my cabbage soup without the over salted onion soup mix and I add ground turkey to it for my protein. The weight may not come off as quickly as this recipe, but it stays off.
Hi Tony, I cannot wait to go shopping and to pick up my ingredients. When I first saw your video on our YouTube channel on TV, you mentioned that those were your favorite veggies with which you were making your soup but that if we liked other veggies better we could choose other veggies. Id love to know if that still stands because Id love to add mushrooms, kale and fresh spinach if its allowable. Personally, I have never been a lover of soup but apparently, I am going to learn to be a lover because Im starting this Monday morning and Im not going to falter. Also, why is it we cannot go beyond seven days? Im so sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and I NEED to lose a whole lot of weight. I made this soup on Saturday night ( and I only had it for dinner)February 22 2020 and today is Tuesday February 25 2020. My starting weight was 174.0 as of today I weigh 169.0 and it’s only been 2 whole days of eating this soup and once on Saturday the day I made it. I’ve also been doing 30-45 minutes of exercising. I’ve cheated a tiny bit so far and had a few pistachios here and there. I know that the 5lbs I’ve lost is likely water weight but a pound is a pound. As long as I continue to eat the soup and keep exercising and watch what I eat in no time that water weight loss will turn into fat. The soup was pretty bland the first night I had it (even with all the spices I added ) That’s because my body was used to having salt , but after the second time I ate it it tasted a little better. Now I actually enjoy it. I made a head of cabbage and I put some cabbage with my soup. Also I was going to make my own tomato sauce but I didn’t have time instead I used V8 low sodium tomato juice. I couldn’t find the vegetable stock powder so I used low sodium veggie stock and just added a little. I hope this helps some one. I will update after I complete the 7 days. 👍🏽.

If I strictly followed the instructions, I would I have lost more than 5 kgs in 2 weeks. I tried the recipe twice and it really works. The veggie stock is too high in sodium for me.

J. Ford weird I didn’t get a notification for a reply. Just seeing this as I’m about to it again. Yes I added fresh minced garlic table spoon and teaspoon ginger before putting the tomatoe/water in. I also took 2 weeks off and maintained the weight eating healthy options for the most part. I also didn’t drink alcohol(helped a lot). I figured with this virus going around and being stuck at home, good time for another cut(also gained 4lbs). Since this is really filling, it will cut the grocery expense and last. Sorry for the late reply.

Did ya know that you can sautee with water. No need for the extra calories when its not needed. This soup is very low calorie and delicious but not sustainable. Once you go back to old eating habits the weight will return
@Grace Hall The reason I said its not necessary to saute with oil is because most people dont know. The veggies turn out fine when theyre sauted in water and saves 160 calories per tablespoon. Also, adding lipton onion soup mix from a package makes the soup very flavorful. I just made a big pot of this recipe. Delicious .
The oil is okay though bcz this soup already cuts out everything you typically eat. Dont worry ut wont hurt you or make you fat.

This is like the secret heart diet but I like this one because the secret heart diet has cabbage I don’t like cabbage I did do this diet for two weeks and lost 20lbs I did stick to it no cheats and it will really work ! This one looks better I’m going to do it again because it’s been 10yrs ago I’ve been on the soup diet
This is fine and healthy but unless you eat soup the rest of your life, whats the point? Going to come back plus some. Go with a WFPB diet that this represents from now on and the weight stays off. Check out the Starch Solution.

Ive done this twice. First time was in Nov 2019, I was 191lbs and got to 181lbs in a week. I then used a calorie counting app over Christmas and slowly got down to 176lbs by the end of Jan 2020. I ate fairly normally with smaller portions and still had the occasional beer. Last week I decided to do this soup diet again, I lost 6lbs in 5 days. On the chicken and soup day I had a very long day at work which also required some physical activity. I woke up a 4am shaking and dizzy. I had to go downstairs and make peanut butter on toast, orange juice and tea. This was NOT giving into cravings, I had cravings throughout and they were generally mild. This was my body telling me there was an emergency need for energy.
I think from my experience doing this diet twice and monitoring calories in the middle I would conclude;
1 – you do lose weight on this soup diet, but youd also lose the same weight by eating things you like in moderation whilst monitoring calories.
2 – the structure of a 7 day diet kept me motivated to lose weight in one go, whilst monitoring calories the lack of structure sometimes meant I went over and didnt lose weight.
3 – if you are going to do this diet make sure you dont over exert yourself, I am never going to do this diet again after my reaction this time.
It actually shows how obsessed we are with being skinny over being healthy if Im not mistaken olive oil can be toxic when its heated. Can it be done with a substitute for olive oil

I did not use the pasta sauce just the paste…I use esparrogous instead of green beans…I used the pot first part but decided to do the rest in a crock pot…we busy family I left low overnight…I need to loose 30 pounds….I will try this off and on alternating with a protein shake diet and meal at day and then do it again soup…I will post my progress ..idol not have money for Jenny Craig programs…I think the portions have to be small 3 times daily ..I will try to incorporate supplements and tea
