All I wanna do is just have one of my favorite meals that is well over the carbs. I also do IF. Depending on my day like Tuesday through Wednesday 20:4 or 22:2. Thursdays to Friday atleast a 16:8 or 18:6 and from Saturday 12am to Monday about 5 a fast. So the carbs will be broken down immediately. Ive been on the keto lifestyle for 2 weeks now and kinda just wanna treat myself to general taos chicken. No rice just the chicken. Then Ill load up on fats to try and balance my macros. I just wanted to see if itd have a negative impact doing it, like if itll make me gain. You answered my question, it wont. Thank you.

Ive been keto for 2 years. Gave up dairy 14 months ago and had 14 months of fantastic health; best year of my adult life to 64. Developed allergy a month ago to moulds (nuts, yoghurts, mayo, vinegars all out) and some carbs started slipping in because I couldnt keep enough high fats. I have been crashing with HYPERinsulinaemia. Really frightening but at least now we know what it is. I went keto in the first place because my body diesnt process carbs well but nothing like this

If were being up front, its the refined versions of these macronutrients which cause problems in some individuals (& all individuals on a long enough timescale!). So in truth, REFINED fat + REFINED carbs is a bad combination.
But yeah, the ladys point was that the SAD is a complete car crash, that I agree with. My point is whole foods dont play by the same rules as processed/refined.

lately Ive followed a number of dr Hallberg videos on keto diet. How practically to establish my carb tolerance or the critical level? I had a year ago a heart attack. I forbid the butchers to insert a wire in my precious artery. I do preffer to die than to be dependent to the rest of my life of the butcher and his medications. Garlic, once a week no food, turmeric and something that I think is keto diet plus cycling (with caution) gave me a better overall conditon than prior to the event. All doctors have told me that I supposed to be dead but I am overall very healthy. My goal is to reverse the artery problem and heart damage. I know that being cautious I overdone my healthy water melons, apples and so on. How in practice should I reverse my condition? How many days and how long to fast totally? How strict keto to adhere. I eat predominantly animal food like pig (whole pig), some lamb fat, coconut oil fair amount, 1kg cheese last me a week or two, onions, small apple a day, dark chocolate 95% or 85%, biodynamic yoghurt like 3-4days for a 1kg, dosen of eggs a week, 500g frozen blueberries 2-4 days. What could or should I change in my diet to reverse my condition. I am 65 and cycle only 10-30km a week. I live in subtropic. What is a realistic time to expect not only not to die but to reverse heart damage/problem and get rid of insuline resistance? Lately Ive introduced a small potatoe a day with lots of fat. Apparently potato reduces insuline resistance. Any advice will be appreciated. Ive lost lately some 4-5kg and stopped. I believe that I may loose up to 5kg to get my late teens weight. Thanks.
